The Lusitano, the impressive, graceful and popular baroque crossbreed

The Lusitano is an Iberian horse, one of the three horse breeds of Portugal. This horse breed is closely related to the Andalusier. The Lusitano has a compact square body. He has a narrow, but well-proportioned head with a slightly convex profile. His impressive neck is thick and arched. Manes and tail are usually long and wavy. Due to his appearance this horse is usually called a baroque horse. Though they can be of any solid colour, Lusitano’s are usually grey. The Lusitano is extremely manoeuvrable.

For this type of baroque horse with his round skirt, compact build and wide front, FryskWare has designed a perfect fitting horse blanket, that avoids rubbing and offers enough space to graze.
